Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced delivery driver to service local customers from 5111 Choctaw Drive. Expect 10–12 stops daily, accurate paperwork, and strong customer service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of driving experience or Truck Driving School certification with a valid CDL, hazmat endorsement (or within 60 days), and the ability to lift 75 pounds. We offer competitive pay and a rich benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient reading/writing in English.
• Two years of driving experience or Truck Driving School certification with CDL A/B.
• Must be 21 years or older; Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtainable within 60 days.
• No major accidents, suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in past 10 years; pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, handling paperwork and customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continue learning how Linde operates to support growth.
