Job summary

LIUNA North Dakota seeks a hands-on construction laborer in Minnesota who also holds a CDL. Responsibilities include general labor, equipment operation, loading/unloading, and assisting crews on underground/utilities and site work.

Candidates must have a valid CDL (Class A or B), a current DOT medical card, and be willing to travel to different jobsites. OSHA 10/30 certification and endorsements are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Ability to perform physical construction work outdoors.
• Willingness to travel to different jobsites.
• Endorsements (tank) and equipment experience preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor and operate/drive commercial vehicles as needed.
• Load/unload materials, haul to/from jobsites, assist crews with underground/utilities, concrete, highway/heavy or site work, traffic control, hand and power tools, jobsite setup/cleanup.

Job description

This is a hands-on construction laborer position for an individual who also holds a CDL.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will perform general construction labor and operate/drive commercial vehicles as needed.
• General construction labor, loading/unloading materials and equipment, hauling materials to and from jobsites, operating company trucks, assisting crews with underground/utilities, concrete, highway/heavy or site work, traffic control, hand and power tools, jobsite setup/cleanup, and other LIUNA-covered work.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL depending on the contractor's needs, clean/acceptable driving record, current DOT medical card, ability to perform physical construction work, willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions, reliable attendance, and ability to travel to different jobsites.
• If appropriate, you could make tanker endorsement, air brakes, equipment experience, OSHA 10/30, or underground experience preferred rather than required.
