Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Bus Driver for evening and overnight shifts in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role includes following safety protocols and providing exceptional passenger care while conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid CDL Class A or B, be at least 21 years old, and have a minimum of three years of driving experience. The position offers a pay range of $21.25 – $22.65 per hour, with benefits including vacation, paid sick time, and a 401(k) plan.

Pay

• $21.25 – $22.65 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)
• Starting pay $21.25 with annual raises per agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Provide exceptional passenger care, including boarding assistance and ride comfort.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, maintain cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Enforce company policies, seat belt and emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement at time of application.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Available to work overnight, day, evening, weekend shifts as assigned.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Subject to DOT drug testing, physical exam, FBI fingerprint background check, and TSA security assessment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity; perform job 100% outdoors, often alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for 6–8 hours per day; walk long distances and on uneven surfaces.
• Push/pull up to 80 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs; bend, kneel, or crouch.
• Endure heavy traffic, dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
