Job summary

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join the Las Vegas operation. You will ensure safe, reliable transportation, prioritize passenger comfort, and uphold exceptional customer service standards.

Shifts include early mornings through overnights, with bid-based scheduling according to seniority. The role requires a valid CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements, at least 3 years of driving experience, and willingness to work overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement at time of application.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Candidates must be available to work overnight shifts.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and FBI background check and TSA security threat assessment.

• Safety-Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by following routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care: Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers for smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues; maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols: Enforce seat belts, emergency readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Las Vegas, NV. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, customer service, hospitality and safety. Shifts available: Early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights. Shift assignments are based on bid seniority.

$21.89 - $22.65 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)

Starting pay $21.89 with raises every year determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement at the time of application
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
• Candidates must be available to work overnight shifts.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Availability to work, day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• This position is subject to an in-depth FBI fingerprint background check and a TSA security threat assessment, which can take up to three weeks or longer to complete.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 80 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
