Job summary

The Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CDL Technician who will perform essential inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sewer and storm water pipes. The role involves manual labor, vehicle operation, and entry into confined spaces as part of a fast-paced infra service team.

We require CDL vehicle operation experience (Class A/B), a tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to learn other equipment.

Qualifications

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle, preferably a Vac Truck.
• Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Must also have the ability and/or willingness to learn and operate other company equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and meet background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
• Equipment driving and operation.
• Entry into manhole and underground structures.
• Pump watch and operation.
