Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Commercial CDL Class A with endorsements preferred.
• 3–5 years of recent driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record with manual transmission experience and proficient backing.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, range and behind-the-wheel instruction in alignment with ELDT standards.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ELDT, FMCSA, and DOT rules and regulations.
• Assist with recordkeeping for CDL courses.
• Promote transportation programs and recruit students.
• Maintain inventories of equipment and supplies.
• Report needed repairs for labs, classrooms, and equipment.
• Integrate industry updates into curriculum and teaching practices.
• Meet all scheduled classes and office commitments; maintain professional appearance.
