Job summary

BCAC Underground is seeking a dependable CDL / Hydro Vac Operator to support underground field operations across Texas. You will operate Class A vehicles, hydro-vac equipment, and transport trailers on project sites in Haltom City and Abilene, with travel as needed.

Responsibilities include performing high-pressure hydro-vac operations, load securement, pre- and post-trip inspections, following DOT/OSHA safety standards, and assisting field crews with logistics and equipment positioning.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Tanker Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Commercial driving and/or hydro-vac operating experience.
• Ability to safely load and secure materials and heavy equipment for transport.
• Willingness to travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, hydro-vac trucks, and transport trailers.
• Perform hydro-vac operations, including high-pressure water jetting and vacuum recovery.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and heavy machinery using proper tie-downs.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT/OSHA standards.
• Assist field crews with jobsite logistics and equipment positioning.
• Complete driver logs and required documentation.
• Maintain clean and serviced vehicles and equipment.
• Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures around underground utilities and active jobsites.
