Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible CDL Highway Laborer to perform highway maintenance, traffic control, and related duties across the Massachusetts area. The role requires a CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, OSHA 10, and a clean MVR, with flexibility for day, night, weekend shifts and overtime.

Candidates must lift 50–60 pounds and operate vehicles safely, with prior landscaping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• CDL Class B license with air brake endorsement is required.
• 5 years clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
• OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification available through company if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance tasks such as bridge cleaning and vegetation removal.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Operate company vehicles as required.
• Use all equipment and tools safely and effectively.

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a responsible, motivated, and skilled CDL Highway Laborer with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for performing various highway maintenance tasks, including traffic control set-ups, cleaning, and tree/brush removal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks, such as bridge cleaning, tree cutting, and vegetation removal.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Operate company vehicles as required.
• Use all equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience:

• 18+ years of age or older
• Must have a valid CDL Class B license with air break endorsement
• 5 years clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
• Must have OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (can be provided by the company if not already certified).
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds.Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.Capable of driving a box truck or similar vehicle.Comfortable and capable of working from various heights.Experience with landscaping and weed whacking is required.
