Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks an experienced truck driver to operate heavy equipment and move materials around warehouses, yards, factories, and construction sites.

You will load and unload, secure loads, complete DOT paperwork, and perform basic vehicle maintenance while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

This full-time role requires a CDL with endorsements, NCCER certifications, and a strong commitment to safety on projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Must have multiple years of experience as a truck driver or similar position.
• CDL with appropriate endorsement required for operation on public roads.
• A copy of the Medical Examiner's Certificate must be on file before operation begins.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• May include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search per onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer or truck with GVW of at least 26,000 pounds and move materials safely.
• Load, unload, and secure materials for transport; inspect loads and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on vehicles or equipment.
• Keep DOT and other required paperwork current (expense reports, trip sheets, tickets, etc.).
• Follow safety rules and coordinate with the crew to prevent injuries.
