Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seek an experienced CDL Driver to operate heavy equipment for vegetation management on electrical lines. A valid Class A CDL and willingness to perform storm-related work are required.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and equipment maintenance in outdoor environments. Responsibilities include equipment setup, daily operation under Foreperson direction, and maintaining PPE and safety protocols during long shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Class A CDL required.
• Prior heavy equipment operating experience preferred in utility vegetation management, construction, or related fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safety rules at all times.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work as directed by Foreperson.
• Operate equipment as instructed by Foreperson.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Assist crew members and lead when required.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Set up barriers and warning signs to protect workers and public.
• Report mileage to Foreperson and assist in storm work as needed.
