Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in Mesquite, TX seeks an experienced Wage Agency Instructor for CDL/Heavy Equipment. The role involves delivering classroom and field instruction, updating curriculum, and providing technical support.

Applicants must reside within 40 miles of Mesquite or be willing to relocate. This temporary/casual position reports to the Training Manager, Transportation & Heavy Equipment, and requires a valid Class A Texas CDL held for at least five years, plus

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A Texas CDL held for at least five years.
• Five years of verifiable Class A operations including heavy equipment experience.
• One year of adult education and/or training.
• Equivalency: AA with 3 years related experience or BA with 1 year related experience; both require adult education exposure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CDL/Heavy Equipment training in classroom and field settings.
• Provide technical assistance and present course materials.
• Update and modify curriculum to meet learner needs.
• Must live within a 40-mile radius of Mesquite, TX or relocate within that radius.
