Job summary

FiberTel, LLC in Springville, Utah is seeking CDL HDD Crew Members (Laborers, Locators, and Vacuum Truck Operators) to join our expanding HDD crews. The role supports underground fiber optic and telecommunications projects with a focus on safety and teamwork.

We offer full-time, hourly work with 40 hours per week, competitive pay 23–28/hr DOE, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k) with match, and paid holidays/vacations.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility construction, telecommunications, HDD operations, locating, vac truck operation, or related underground construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist HDD crews with daily underground telecommunications construction activities.
• Perform general labor tasks including hand digging, potholing, conduit placement, and site cleanup.
• Locate existing underground utilities and verify utility markings.
• Safely operate vacuum excavation (hydrovac) equipment when assigned.
• Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of HDD equipment and job sites.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures.
• Complete required daily inspections, reports, and documentation.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
