Job summary

FiberTel, LLC is seeking experienced CDL HDD Crew Members (Laborers, Locators, and Vacuum Truck Operators) to join our Springville, Utah team. We are expanding our HDD crews for underground fiber optic projects and are willing to train the right CDL-qualified candidates.

Pay is 23–28/hr DOE. This is a full-time hourly position with 40 hours per week, outdoors in varied weather and terrain. Candidates must pass screening and meet driving requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility construction or HDD operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist HDD crews with underground telecom construction activities.
• Perform general labor tasks including digging, potholing, conduit placement, and site cleanup.
• Locate underground utilities and verify markings.
• Operate vacuum excavation equipment as needed.
• Support setup, operation, and teardown of HDD gear and sites.
• Load and unload equipment and materials for jobs.
• Follow OSHA, DOT and company safety procedures.
• Complete daily inspections and documentation.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
