Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator (HDD) to install underground cables and utilities using trenchless HDD methods. The role requires experience around utilities in rural and urban settings, print reading, and the ability to mentor crew members.

The candidate should have a valid Class A CDL and proven field experience with HDD crews, rig operation, and locating equipment. Join a premier drainage and telecom contractor with a long history in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics for HDD projects.
• Willingness to mentor and train other team members.
• Experience with Vermeer or Ditch Witch units and various locating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for installation of underground cable conduit or utilities.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance as needed.
