Job summary

FiberTel, LLC in Springville, Utah, seeks experienced CDL HDD Crew Members (Laborers, Locators, and Vacuum Truck Operators) to support underground fiber optic projects. Candidates must be prepared for outdoor work, heavy lifting, and team-based tasks on HDD sites.

We offer training for qualified CDL candidates, strong safety culture, and benefits. Pay ranges from 23 to 28 USD per hour depending on experience, with full-time hours and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility construction or HDD operations preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist HDD crews with daily underground telecommunications construction activities.
• Perform general labor tasks including hand digging, potholing, conduit placement, and site cleanup.
• Locate existing underground utilities and verify utility markings.
• Safely operate vacuum excavation (hydrovac) equipment when assigned.
• Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of HDD equipment and job sites.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures.
• Complete required daily inspections, reports, and documentation.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
