Job summary

Brenntag seeks a skilled CDL driver to support chemical distribution. Operate Class 8 tractors, haul hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and ensure safe loading, documentation, and timely home time.

You will follow DOT/OSHA rules, perform equipment maintenance, and communicate with dispatch to maintain reliable schedules. Strong safety focus and ability to work with various delivery scenarios are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience required.
• Class A CDL with Tanker/ Bulk and/or Hazmat endorsements and DOT medical card.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• TWIC card or in-process if required.
• Certification to operate pallet jacks; forklift certification if necessary.
• Residency within sixty miles of the worksite; travel to other locations with approval.
• Drug screen, background check, and E‑Verify compliance.
• Minimum 1 year liquid bulk hauling experience or 3 years trucking experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractors and lower for chemical distribution.
• Transport HAZMAT and non-hazardous materials, including liquids and solids.
• Load and unload using pumps and other equipment, manage paperwork.
• Conduct in-plant movements, transfers, and outside deliveries.
• Follow all DOT/OSHA/site rules and maintain daily logs.
• Operate safety equipment and maintain equipment readiness.
• Communicate delivery instructions daily with dispatch.
