Job summary

RTX is seeking a Logistics Team Member with a Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsement to safely transport explosive and non‑explosive materials to and from storage areas, production facilities, and off‑site locations in Huntsville, AL. You will drive, inspect, document logs, and ensure load security while complying with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating forklifts, validating documents in SAP/PRISM, and preparing materials for disposal or shipment in accordance

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two-year post-high-school training.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Active, transferable Secret level security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• CDL Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles with hazardous materials and comply with safety regulations.
• Perform pre‑use inspections on vehicles, trailers, forklifts and equipment.
• Document and maintain driver logs and inspection records.
• Load/unload trucks, secure loads and operate forklifts as needed.
• Verify material against shipment documents and transfer orders in SAP/PRISM.
• Prepare explosive and non‑explosive material for disposal or shipment per regulations.
• Provide ammunition and explosives logistics services including storage and inventory accountability.
• Assist in orienting, training, and checking the work of employees.
