Job summary

Dyno Nobel Jasper, AL, is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate all company trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver explosive products safely and efficiently. You will drive/operate bulk trucks on public roads, perform maintenance, and keep records in accordance with DN H&S procedures.

Required CDL Class A/B, Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain, and 21+ years old. 36+ months experience preferred; ATF background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain.
• 21+ years of age.
• Strong safety record and compliance with DN H&S procedures.
• 36+ months of related experience preferred.
• Must pass ATF background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver products safely.
• Complete inventory records and reports.
• Drive/bulk and blend trucks to prepare and deliver ANFO products.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and dewatering equipment.
• Calibrate equipment and monitor densities/fuel percentages.
• Load/unload trucks and maintain magazines, sites, and inventories.
• Follow safety procedures to protect self and others.
• Maintain records concerning handling and transportation of explosives.
