Environmental Compliance Consultants inc. (ECC) in Anchorage seeks a Technician with CDL to join our service center. You will drive local routes, operate vehicles and equipment, and perform material handling and environmental services in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat endorsement and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Pass pre-employment DOT drug test including marijuana.
• Ability to pass a government background check for military installation access.
• Ability to pass occupational and DOT physicals.
• Ability to wear a full and half face respirator.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate light and heavy commercial vehicles and equipment to perform environmental and industrial services.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport cargo.
• Inspect, handle, and containerize hazardous waste and materials.
• Inspect containers and collection areas for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and clean industrial systems; oil water separators.
• Spill response, remediation, and cleanup activities.
• Data entry and record keeping.
• Provide excellent customer service and client relations.
