Job summary

Acme-Barricades- is hiring for a Highway Guardrail Installer. The role involves reading plans, laying out guardrail, and installing materials on various sites. You will drive a CDL-equipped truck, load and unload materials, and keep logs and paperwork updated.

The position requires long hours, travel to job sites, and adherence to safety regulations and FMCSA rules. Expect outdoor work in traffic and construction environments with manual tasks and tool usage.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Class A CDL
• Must be able to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Must pass FMCSA Clearinghouse Query
• Must provide a medical certificate
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in challenging environments
• Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions and traffic
• Valid driver’s license with no manual transmission restriction

Responsibilities

• Reading of plans and schematics.
• Layout of highway guardrail.
• Handling and installing guardrail materials.
• Loading/unloading materials on truck and maintaining paperwork.
• Operate Post Pounder/Driver Truck.
• Deliver materials to jobsites and drive long distances.
• Inspect trucks and report issues; log hours and routes.
