Job summary

Pico Propane and Fuels, a Meritum Energy Holdings company, in Weslaco, TX, is seeking a Fuel Delivery Driver responsible for loading, transporting and delivering refined fuels and propane using a tractor-trailer. This role emphasizes safety, service and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to obtain TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
• No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 2 years.
• 3+ years tractor-trailer experience in propane and/or fuel distribution.
• 1+ years tanker experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all city, state, and federal regulations.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads product.
• Performs pre and post-trip inspections on equipment used for the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Plans and accomplishes operational assignments that are varied and moderately complex to complex.
• Gauges tank volumes and tests product quality and specifications while transporting.
• Maintains vehicle safety through daily DOT inspections and maintenance tracking.
• Keeps accurate records of inspections, hours of service, product transported and miles driven.
• Reports larger service needs to supervisor and assists with hauling equipment on a flatbed trailer.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
