Pico Propane and Fuels, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company, in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Fuel Transport Driver to join the team! The Transport Driver is responsible for loading, transporting and delivering refined fuels using a tanker truck (11,400-gallon capacity).

This position requires a Class A CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable operation of the tanker fleet.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements is required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to obtain Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
• No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 2 years.
• 3+ years tractor and trailer experience in propane and/or fuel distribution (preferred).
• 1+ years tanker experience within the last 5 years.

Aufgaben

• Comply with city, state, and federal regulations.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads product.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment for hazardous materials.
• Plan and accomplish operational assignments that are varied and moderately complex to complex.
• Gauge tank volumes and test product quality and specifications for bulk petroleum during transport.
• Maintain vehicle safety by monitoring maintenance needs and daily DOT inspections.
• Complete accurate records documenting inspections, hours of service, product transported and miles driven.
• Ensure delivery vehicle receives service per maintenance schedule; report larger issues to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
