Job summary

Pico Propane and Fuels, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company in Kenedy, TX, is seeking a Dual (RF/LP) Delivery Driver to join the team. The role loads, transports and delivers refined fuels and propane using a tractor and trailer, and may assist with flatbed hauling. CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements required.

Our drivers are committed to service, efficiency and safety; expect to work with compliance, inspections, and documentation of hours, miles and product transported daily.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to obtain TWIC.
• No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 2 years.
• 3+ years tractor and trailer experience in propane and/or fuel distribution.
• 1+ years tanker experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Comply with city, state, and federal regulations.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads product.
• Pre- and post-trip inspections for hazardous materials.
• Understand testing and transporting bulk petroleum to pipeline points.
• Plan and accomplish varied operational assignments.
• Gauge tank volumes and test product quality during transport.
• Maintain vehicle safety with routine DOT inspections.
• Complete accurate truck inspection and mileage records.
• Report larger service needs and maintenance to supervisor.
• Assist with hauling equipment on a flatbed trailer.
