GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to service multiple residential and commercial routes in Texas.

The role involves operating front-end or ancillary trucks to collect waste and recyclables, inspecting the vehicle, and ensuring safe, compliant work on each route. The candidate must hold a valid CDL and have at least one year of driving experience or a CDL school certificate, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Minimum of one year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to perform safety-sensitive duties per company standards.
• Ability to safely operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste.
• Open container enclosures as needed and maneuver cans for dumping.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact politely with customers and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and site and monitor safety around dumping.
• Maintain logs and route/productivity records as required by law or policy.
• Back up using mirrors and GPS to service addresses.
• Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.
