Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of operation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Serves commercial businesses by collecting Front Load Containers on pre-assigned routes.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance checks.
• Maintains clean truck and loads waste safely, following safety procedures.
• Records route information, mileage and other required forms and communicates with customers professionally.
