Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a CDL Front-End Driver for local routes in Brunswick / Bolivia, NC. This role involves operating front-load trucks, servicing commercial and multi-family accounts, and returning home each night.

You will be responsible for safe operation, pre/post-trip inspections, and accurate logs, with a strong emphasis on customer service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience or a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to safely back up and operate heavy equipment in tight or high-traffic areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial front-load vehicles along assigned routes to service commercial customers and multi-family residential communities.
• Use hydraulics and controls to lift and dump 3–4-yard containers smoothly and safely.
• Interact with local businesses and community members along the route.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs and productivity sheets.
• Navigate with maps and GPS to handle tight clearances and spaces.
