Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Greenville, NC is seeking a safety‑focused CDL driver to service local commercial routes. You’ll operate front‑load trucks, perform pre/post‑trip inspections, and back up in busy commercial areas.

Be the face of GFL on your daily route, interacting with business owners and community members. You will follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols, with a home‑daily schedule and comprehensive benefits including retirement planning and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to safely operate and back up heavy equipment in busy commercial areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, open corral gates, and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset and commitment to customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• Credentials: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) in good standing.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
