Job summary

Expedited Freight Systems, LLC seeks a reliable LTL service-center teammate in Indianapolis, IN for a hybrid role combining local pickup & delivery driving, dock work, and general service-center support. You will ensure safe operations, accurate document handling, and positive customer interactions in a fast-paced terminal.

Required CDL (A or B), clean DOT record, ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen, and flexibility to work varied shifts; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (A or B) as required by equipment
• Clean DOT record
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
• Lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts/pallet jacks
• Work in various weather conditions indoors and outdoors
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-first attitude
• Flexibility to work varying shifts
• Read, write, and understand English (shipping docs)
• Commitment to safety and procedures

Responsibilities

• Pickup & Delivery driving with local routes and proper documentation
• Dock operations including loading/unloading and equipment safety
• Hostling trailers and coordinating movements with dispatch
• General terminal duties and adherence to safety
• Communicate effectively with team and adapt to changes
