Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements with minimal supervision.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Capable of overhead work and long hours.
• Weight not to exceed 300 pounds.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and job scope with property owners/customers.
• Promotes customer relations through successful completion of assigned work.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Furnishes reports on incidents, equipment issues, and crew performance.
• Maintains tools, trucks, and equipment; ensures safety and maintenance compliance.
• Keeps barriers and signage to protect crew and the public; coordinates with authorities as needed.
