Job Description

Location: 1085 West 400 North, Lindon, Utah 84042-1102

Valmont is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Truck Driver position in the Shipping and Receiving department within the Global Coatings Division. The role involves operating a tractor-trailer to safely pick-up and deliver Valmont products.

Essential Functions

• Inspect trucks and trailers for defects before and after loads and report any issues
• Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and organize materials in the yard
• Maintain forklift maintenance logs to ensure operational condition
• Operate equipment and vehicles safely, ensuring safety for self and others
• Maintain all necessary DOT paperwork and logs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Two years of professional driving experience
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High safety awareness
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
• Passion and integrity with drive to excel

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of forklift operation experience
• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
