County Materials Corp in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a reliable Flatbed CDL Driver to transport freight on flatbed trailers. You will represent the company professionally, ensuring on-time deliveries and safe freight handling.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to tarp and secure loads, and strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, communicate with dispatch, and maintain driver readiness on all routes.

Qualifications

• High school education (or Equivalent).
• Must hold a valid CDL prior to hire.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient transportation of goods using flatbed tractor-trailer equipment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with customers and site personnel.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections of tractor, trailer, and securement equipment.
• Secure and tarp loads properly in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Unload materials using pipe unloaders when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and operating condition of assigned tractor and trailer.
• Receive dispatch instructions, communicate job status, and report completion of deliveries.
• Maintain consistent communication with dispatch throughout assigned routes.
