Job summary

Xylem in Kent, WA is seeking a Field Operator w/CDL to safely operate a DOT-regulated vehicle and transport materials to job sites. You will perform field service, troubleshoot systems, and work on electrical, mechanical, and diesel aspects as required.

Candidates must obtain CDL Class A or B with endorsements, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to travel 20-80% with overnight stays. A HS diploma is required; DOT medical card and customer clearances may be needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of obtaining CDL class A or B with applicable endorsements.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical card and other required clearances.
• Clean driving record.
• 0 to 2 years of technical work experience, 1 year preferred.
• Ability to drive overnight and cross-borders with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Operate a DOT regulated vehicle safely and transport materials/equipment between sites.
• Perform field service activities at customer sites, including system troubleshooting.
• Identify and remedy safety issues on company and customer equipment.
• Collaborate with team and maintain safe working environment.
