Job summary

Xylem is seeking a CDL Driver Technician to join our Cartersville, GA team. This role combines driving with hands-on field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across customer sites in the region.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain a CDL, DOT Medical Card, and required clearances. Travel up to 80% may be necessary, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with applicable endorsements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for cross-border travel, if required.
• 0–2 years of technical or field service experience preferred.
• Mechanical, electrical, diesel, fusion, or related technical experience is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DOT-regulated vehicles to transport equipment and materials to customer locations.
• Perform field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Interact with customers to identify and resolve issues and ensure equipment operates reliably.
• Maintain safety standards and follow company procedures in all tasks.
