Job summary

Groome Industrial Service Group in Humble, TX seeks dedicated Explosive Technicians with CDL to travel regionally and operate specialized equipment at power generation plants. You will receive training to de-slag large boilers using explosives, with opportunities for growth and safety as top priorities.

Shift schedules vary with emergencies; out-of-state travel is required. High safety standards and valid CDL A are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Willingness to travel to power plants across the region.
• Ability to operate vacuum trucks and heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vacuum truck, heavy equipment, or other company vehicles.
• Monitor gauges and functions of vac truck/VecLoader.
• Assist with setup, inspect equipment and hoses before, during, and after projects.
• Complete all related paperwork.
• Perform power washing, scaffolding, shoveling, explosive blasting, grinding, construction, demolition, and painting.
