Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Class A/B CDL Driver to operate trucks and specialized equipment, delivering commercial explosives to customers safely and efficiently. You will support SME plant operations, manage loading/unloading, and navigate challenging terrains, all while upholding strict safety standards.

The role requires driving on public roads and occasional off-road sites, with start times from early morning.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required.
• Air Brakes endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check to possess explosives.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must be able to move items weighing up to 60lbs repetitively.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday with early morning start times (8–14 hours daily).
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to deliver explosives safely and efficiently.
• Assist in operation and maintenance of SME plant; manage chemical solutions and loading/unloading of SME trucks.
• Drive various delivery vehicles to move products to company or customer sites, including off-road and challenging terrain.
• Load and unload trucks, calibrate equipment, and maintain records of explosive handling and transport.
• Follow Dyno Nobel H&S procedures to ensure safety for personnel and the public.
• Maintain magazines, sites and inventories, and ensure regulatory compliance and accurate billing.
