Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is seeking a Dump Truck Driver in Madison, TN who can operate a manual truck and maintain a strong safety record. The role supports construction crews on local projects with day shifts and wage starting at $27.00/hr.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CDL, have at least 2 years of truck driving experience (preferably with a third axle), and are prepared for long shifts and rigorous physical work in varying conditions.

Competenze

• Must maintain a valid CDL License.
• Must be able to operate a manual vehicle.
• Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience preferred. Experience with trucks equipped with third axle.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to get along with others.
• Displays a positive attitude.
• Presents a professional image as an employee
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful traffic or other situations.
• Ability to work evenings and nights as needed, to support construction operations.

Mansioni

• Drives truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or bituminous paving materials.
• Checks vehicle to ensure it is safe to operate.
• Checks tires, headlights, marker lights, stop lights and turn signals.
• Operates bed controls for raising/lowering of dump bed.
• Tarps all loads regardless of material.
• Operates tailgate spreader chains for tailgating material.
• Submits daily logs that comply with Company, State and Federal Regulations.
• Completes and submits a daily truck report.
• Answers directly to the Trucking Supervisor.
