Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a Dump Truck Driver in Murfreesboro, TN to transport and unload materials for highway construction projects.

You will operate dump trucks, perform safety checks, and comply with applicable trucking laws while maintaining a clean vehicle and adhering to safety standards. The role requires a valid CDL and at least 2 years of driving experience, with readiness for long hours and some night work.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid CDL License and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience preferred, experience with third axle.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
• Ability to get along with others and present a professional image.
• Ability to work evenings and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials (sand, gravel, crushed rock, bituminous paving).
• Performs safety checks and ensures vehicle is safe to operate.
• Maintains compliance with state and federal trucking laws.
• Operates vehicle safely under varying conditions and weather.
• Tarps loads and maintains cleanliness of the bed and cab.
• Completes daily logs and reports as required.
