Job summary

Native Sun Construction seeks a CDL Dump Truck Driver in Grand Junction, CO. The role combines hauling materials with on-site heavy equipment operation, supporting civil, utility, and earthwork projects in the Grand Junction area.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record, plus 2+ years of driving and heavy equipment experience, and a safety-conscious mindset to contribute to the company’s legacy of quality work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of combined dump truck driving and heavy equipment operation experience.
• OSHA certified (preferred).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B dump truck to haul aggregate, dirt, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators/track hoes, loaders, dozers, and skid steers as needed.
• Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to execute projects efficiently and safely.
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment.
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
• Other duties as needed to get the job done well.
