Danella Construction Corp of PA is seeking a knowledgeable Commercial Driving Instructor to train the next generation of professional drivers in Pennsylvania. The role combines behind-the-wheel and classroom instruction to develop skills, confidence, and safety habits essential for success in the industry.

You will guide students through hands-on training, assess progress, and ensure adherence to federal and PA safety guidelines, DOT regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• Patient demeanor and safety-focused.
• Teaching/training experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on driving instruction and classroom training.
• Teach fundamental road skills, vehicle control, shifting, and advanced backing maneuvers.
• Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Pennsylvania safety regulations (DOT and company).
• Observe, coach, and provide feedback to students daily; track progress.
• Evaluate readiness for CDL exam.
