Job summary

Lumber Contacts, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a CDL driver with hoisting license to transport materials to and from destinations, with assignments ranging from stake body to flatbed and box trucks depending on license class.

Candidates must have a clean driving record, follow all safety procedures, and be able to load, secure, and deliver materials to job sites, including the potential to deliver into buildings and assist with payments when needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a class 1-C or better hydraulics license.
• Possess or be able to obtain a DOT medical card and a MA CDL of Class and Endorsements applicable to current fleet assignments.
• Complete mandatory DOT background check information.

Responsibilities

• Present a friendly and accommodating atmosphere, helping customers determine their needs and facilitate requests efficiently and accurately.
• Present a professional appearance and abide by the employee handbook guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures and operate trucks safely and responsibly.
• Load and secure materials in or onto trucks and verify correct materials arrive undamaged.
• May assemble materials for delivery and provide delivery to buildings including multi-floor access.
• Maintain truck and forklift per regulations and complete daily checklist.
• Inspect truck and equipment daily and respond to delivery instructions from shipper.
• May perform yard duties and assist with returning materials to the yard.
