Job summary

Acme Barricades is seeking a CDL Driver in Lakeland, FL to safely and timely deliver materials to construction sites. You will operate company trucks, assist with loading/unloading, and coordinate with dispatchers to optimize routes and schedules.

Desirable candidates have prior truck driving experience, familiarity with GPS/AVL systems, and the ability to work long hours, including nights or weekends. The role offers overtime and competitive pay in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven truck driving experience with knowledge of trucking rules.
• Ability to operate GPS/AVL systems and CB radio.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to job sites on schedule.
• Load, unload and record cargo deliveries; maintain paperwork.
• Refuel, inspect, and maintain truck; report issues to maintenance.
• Plan routes and log hours; follow safety and traffic rules.
• Work flexible schedule including possible nights/weekends.
