Job summary

ACME is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver materials to job sites and support installation teams. You will operate and maintain company trucks, coordinate with dispatch, and ensure timely, safe deliveries across diverse sites.

The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to drive long hours, and strict adherence to FMCSA rules. You will log hours, perform pre-trip inspections, and collaborate with maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be able to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Must pass requirements on a FMCSA Clearinghouse Query.
• Must provide a medical certificate.
• Must pass background and criminal record checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive long distances to deliver materials to jobsites in a timely manner.
• Load, unload and record cargo deliveries. Maintain paperwork.
• Refuel and clean vehicle.
• Inspect trucks and report issues to maintenance personnel.
• Follow traffic laws and accident procedures.
• Plan routes using GPS system.
• Keep hours log and maintain documentation.
