Job summary

Casella Waste Systems in Massachusetts is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks on designated routes while delivering courteous service to customers. A $2,500 hiring bonus is offered, with opportunities for merit increases and safety bonuses through the Career Pathways program.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A or B CDL, be 18 or older, and pass pre-employment testing including a drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid CDL Class A or B license.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and maintains the truck appearance.
• Operates rear load, front load, side load, and roll off trucks safely on streets, sites and construction zones.
• Provides courteous customer service and timely service on routes.
• Completes all required paperwork accurately and notifies Dispatch of issues or safety concerns.
• Attends training programs and participates in ongoing learning opportunities.
