Job summary

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Driver in Greensboro, NC to ensure timely receipt, handling, and delivery of materials.

You will operate forklifts, pull and stage orders, load deliveries, and maintain accurate shipping documentation while upholding safety and customer service standards. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Safe driving record required.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• DOT medical card preferred (we can assist with getting your card).

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials from carriers and returns.
• Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
• Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
• Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards.
• Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
• Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
• Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
