Job summary

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. in Birmingham, AL is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to support logistics, packing shipments, and on-time deliveries.

You will load/unload trucks, inspect inventory, operate forklifts, and coordinate with drivers and customers to resolve issues while maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18+ months of CDL driving experience.
• At least 6 months of warehouse, forklift, or order fulfillment experience.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license with Medical Certificate.
• Must live within reasonable commuting distance and be on-site.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure deliveries for safe transport.
• Deliver orders to local customers and Eastern distribution centers.
• Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone and GPS.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
• Receive and inspect materials, pull and stage orders using forklifts or order pickers.
• Complete shipping documentation and system entries with accuracy.
