Job description

$5500 EMPLOYMENT BONUS

After (3) months of employment, you will receive $1,500; after (6) months of employment, you will receive $4,000.

• Payments will occur as soon as practicable after the specified time frames.

• You must be employed in good standing at the time of payout to qualify.

Position Summary:

To efficiently deliver products to customers in a safe, courteous, professional, compliant, and timely manner.

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safely and professionally, such as, combination vehicles or straight trucks with a GVWR or GCWR over 10,001 lbs.
• Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment using mobile handheld device logs.
• Unload and deliver products safely and accurately to customers using lift gates, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain product fill levels on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers; transport products between trucks, backrooms, and display floors using MHE such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Communicate any barriers to maintaining the route plan to your supervisor so that changes can be communicated to the customer or dispatch.
• Identify and report unsafe working conditions.
• Attend and complete all company training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, store policies, and all applicable laws, including DOT regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel, resolving concerns effectively.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old or meet the minimum legal age requirements of your state.
• Valid Class A CDL and an acceptable driving record per MVR policy guidelines.
• At least one year of driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
• A minimum of one year of safe driving experience, with some within the past 12 months, operating a CMV similar to the one used for the company.
• One year of work experience in an environment involving heavy lifting, such as a distribution center, roofing, farming, grocery dock, or construction.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test, background check, and DOT Physical.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Beverage industry experience.
• Prior customer service experience, including issue resolution.
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, kneel, squat, reach, and bend as needed.
• Ability to push and pull manual transport equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks over at least 100 yards without assistance.
• Ability to exert physical effort over sustained periods.
