Job summary

B&F Contracting, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to support underground utility construction. The role involves safely operating Class A vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites, with occasional labor and site work as needed.

The driver will coordinate with site supervisors, perform daily vehicle inspections, and help with loading/unloading. Arizona heat requires safe outdoor work and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience; construction experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to tow trailers with heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
• Arizona heat requires working safely outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trucks and flatbeds.
• Transport heavy equipment, tools, and materials to job sites safely.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records.
• Secure loads per safety standards and DOT requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance.
• Assist with loading/unloading and site tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to meet schedules.
• Support underground utility crews with labor tasks.
