Job summary

Santa Rita Landscaping in Tucson, AZ seeks a full-time CDL Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our experienced team. The role involves picking up debris, hauling from sites, and operating roll offs, bobcat/skid steer, and related equipment to grade around landscapes.

You will work both independently and with a crew, ensure equipment and truck are well maintained, and complete required paperwork accurately. A valid CDL and at least one year of heavy equipment experience are required.

Qualifications

• CDL required with clean driving record.
• 1 year experience operating heavy construction equipment (roll-offs, bobcat/skid steer, loaders).
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on role working individually and with a team.
• Maintain truck/equipment and uphold Santa Rita standards.
• Operate equipment safely and read transit/grading elevations.
• Complete paperwork timely and accurately.
• Communicate needs to Supervisor.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Santa Rita Landscaping is currently seeking a full-time experienced CDL Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator to add to our remarkable team of professionals! The CDL Drive/Heavy Equipment Operator works to pick up construction debris and dirt and hauling from various sites. Must also be skilled in the operation of roll offs, skid steer/bobcat, and other similar equipment used to perform grading around houses for landscape projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Hands on working position working both individually and as part of a team
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing SRL standards of quality
• Maintains a clean truck/equipment
• Operate equipment safely and understand transit readings and use transit to grade to proper elevations
• Completes required paperwork timely and accurately
• Communicates accurate needs or concerns to Supervisor
• Performs related duties as assigned

Experience, Knowledge & Abilities

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with clean driving record
• One (1) year experience operating heavy construction equipment including roll offs, bobcat/skid steers, loaders etc.
• Ability to understand transit readings and grade to proper elevations/requirements
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety laws relating to operation of heavy equipment
• Be self-motivated and results-driven
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management, staff and customers
• Bilingual a plus
