Job summary

The position reports to the Program Director or Lead Driver Trainer. It involves delivering instruction, administering tests, and ensuring compliance with safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required and Class level must meet job requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within last 5 years.
• MVR and background check including drug screening.
• Must pass road test as applicable.
• DOT physical and DOT drug screen required.
• Maintain Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT drug tests as required.
• CDL driving essentials: pre-trip inspection, air-brake tests, straight-line backing, etc.
• Able to instruct shifting patterns in various conditions.
• Maintain vehicle equipment knowledge.
• Motivation, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
