Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a CDL Driver Trainer to oversee all driver training functions at the assigned location. The role requires longevity in the field, strong communication, and the ability to teach over-the-road, range maneuvers, and classroom instruction under supervision of the Program Director or Lead Trainer.

The Trainer will deliver instruction, administer tests, and maintain accurate student records while upholding safety and regulatory compliance in a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications

• CDL with required class level for position.
• Demonstrated long-term experience in trucking field.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT drug screen.
• Strong communication and classroom instruction skills.
• Willingness to stay current with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Conduits all assigned classes per start/end times.
• Instructs trucking concepts: pre-trip inspections, backing, parking and maneuvers.
• Administers written tests and evaluates grades.
• Maintains student progress records and confidentiality.
• Ensures safety and compliance with regulations.
